@S S Tbh, music k did seem pretty ambitious with the ark because their stages looked so expensive for a rookie group in 2015. My assumption is that they got too overly ambitious and the goal was not met in terms of revenue, plus the company probably needed the money. Then when they debuted a boy group, they hoped their newer group can relieve them from financial burdens, but that didn't work out too. Regardless of the reason, it can be said music k is one awful management company.

a long rant of The Ark history for people who don't know them. they debuted with the light (suji was the main character in the mv) and it gathered a lot of attention. the ark also released a few busking videos, where they covered hard hitting choreo such like exo- call me baby and bts- boys in luv. they even did an awesome accoustic of boys in luv. euna also showcased her rap with tasha/yoon mirae song as well as eminem. suddenly, they stopped promoting because one of the member, the lead singer, yujin has to be hospitalised (i don't remember what she was hospitalised for but it has something to do with her vocal cord). shields thought that fine, we can wait until yujin healed. even the members thought so and they released videos of their practise as well as a promise that in their next cb, the rapper will sing and the singer will rap. after a while there was complete silence. we didn't hear anything from the members and the company. suddenly, the company started renovating their practise room and changing their website. in their website, all of the sudden, the ark wasn't listed in their list of artist. at this point, everyone know something is wrong. later on, musick released a statement saying that minju (the leader) and euna (both of them are the oldest in the group) wanted out (of the company) so unfortunately the ark is disbanded because of that. at this point, euna already created her instagram, so she posted (now deleted) saying that she can't explained what had actually happened but she and minju love the ark and they will never left by their own. which completely exposed musick as the freaking liar that they are. later on, in unpretyy rapstar, euna's audition video showed that the company actually disbanded them because they lack fund. side note about this: they debuted a boy group after the ark so a big f you, musick. now on why shields are crying over this 5 mins interaction airtime: euna is currently in maroo ent while suji is in another company. yujin is happily doing solo. jane is still promoting rgp while minju is completely mia after the group she was supposed to debut in was cancelled. this was her third group and it must have hurt her so fucking much. all of them are in different companies/paths so it makes us genuinely happy to see just about any kind of interaction between them so basically: musick sucks and after all that the ark and shields have been through, we deserved this 5 minutes airtime of interaction and anyone who think otherwise can keep your opinion to yourselves. thank you
