They will do anything for views.. chase monkeys, throw things at them to get them to interact and do something wild for the camera, etc. People giving food to monkeys is one thing, but people holding cameras taunting laughing at them is another..

As long as the majority continue to show up in droves to watch then why do yall think they film these types of behaviors?? Also, n̈, we should be clear in that though yes, there are a couple of VOs who laugh and poke and prod verbally however it is definitely not all of them and not even the majority of them. Also, Libby would continue to abuse her offspring even if beginning tomorrow there was never another VO or any other humans present. There has been a lot of research done regarding macaque moms who abuse their offspring. Yes, when she is stressed she will get more likely to take it out on her little ones but she is also going to do it regardles...amd there is no "learning to be a better mom" for her. Macaque moms who are abusive are that way with all of their offspring. It also tends to be passed down to their daughters and runs in families.😊

Some of you people are so hilarious to me. Stop blaming and shaming the people holding the camera's and all, lol, they're doing right by staying out of it. This is between a mother and her child. Also, at the end of the day they are animals and not humans, lol. Look, I have a Master's Degree in Anthropology and I have studied primates for years and this is just how they can be at times. Some don't even understand the concept of compassion or love. That's just nature being nature. It's been that way since time began. Who are they to interfere with the nature of things?!?! In caveman days, the original caveman didn't always make the best decisions, that's why they're all extinct and we're still here. If they didn't have enough food or there were already too many in the group and a female had a baby, they would kill the baby. If an elder in the group was sick or got badly hurt they would kill them and move on. It's not pretty, but it's just the nature of things in the wild. She tried drowning him but he kept surfacing. At one point in the long video that I watched she had him submerged for a very, very long time. I really did not think he was going to be able to keep his breath concerned and they started throwing stuff at Libby to make her let go of him. It is a very long video where she abuses him for an extended period of time. On this day, Leo certainly got the beats. She got him good. it started off on the gravel where she dragged him back-and-forth back-and-forth back-and-forth about 40 times and then she threw him in the water swimming lesson never forget! Then she dragged him around the gravel again. But what was surprising was that each and every time he was released, he would run back to her. Poor thing.

This is so upsetting, you literally sit there as she tries to kill her on baby. He is so weak he can’t even swim. Bleeding from his head, how do you sit & record such a violent act? Do you not have a heart or just a complete sicko? You watch her drag him in &out of the water
