I actually liked Deontay a lot (less after his excuses) and he's really raised his game in terms of his speech and his public 'self.' He made some profound points in the interview about head trauma, etc. And particularly about tight friends suddenly asking for money, etc. What I don't like besides the excuses after his TKO loss- is his doubting Fury's past. Deontay said on British TV he didn't come from the projects. Sure he's has a tough life with his daughter's medical problems, etc. Fury points out that he was told by his teachers he would never amount to anything or amass any qualifications.
