@@wayupthebrandpodcast8427 do you even know the rules of boxing? If the fighter doesn't go promptly to the neutral corner, the ref usually "pauses" the count. Just stop you dont have a clue what you are talking about if anything its wilders stupidity that caused the long count he wanted to showboat and it cost him if he would've went directly to his corner fury wouldn't have made it but him being a dumbass gave fury a few more seconds to recover. @@wayupthebrandpodcast8427 it wasn't a long count its easy enough to time it. From the moment Fury hits the deck to when he gets up on his feet is 9.5 seconds and anyway its a 10 count not a 10 second count. You could make the case for the ref waving it off and not counting but what Fury did when he got to his feet (followed instructions, clear eyes, legs solid underneath him) and then dominating Wilder resy of the round easily justified the ref's decision to give the full count. Great fight, great trilogy Fury even said the other day don't count out a 4th dance.

These idiots that say it was a long count dont have no business watching boxing. Rule of boxing states If the fighter doesn't go promptly to the neutral corner, the ref usually "pauses" the count. It wasent just the right that knocked him out. The follow up left hook did the damage too. I never liked Wilder. Never rated him as a boxer. He doesent have the best skills, but I noticed training with Malik it’s getting a lot better. Sick of his lame excuses, but you can’t deny the man’s heart and courage. Every time he got dropped badly by Tyson, he was trying to get up every time. I gotta respect that. After rewatching the last two fights. He was still dangerous against Fury in their 3rd fight and dropped him twice. That right hand is special and evil. One of the most evil right hands in HW boxing history.

Fury got up within 10 seconds after getting hit with Wilder's best punch in the first fight. Wilder on the other hand was out cold for about 2 minutes When Fury hit him in the third fight. Wilder also benefited from the slow count in the third fight after his second knock down . Ref Kenny Bayless was biased towards Wilder throughout the second fight and let him hit Fury behind the head with full force about 20 times in clinches. AJ was given 24 seconds after final Knock down in Ruiz fight. That's is an actual slow count but despite that Joshua lost

It would be like Lennox and Rahman. Maybe he would have a punchers chance at best, but a focused Lennox would easily and systematically annihilate him. I've said this afew times before, in Hindsight nobody can dispute the ref giving fury the chance to fight on, I don't think the count was long, seen enough videos with the timer to disprove that, But what I do agree with is that in 90% of other fights it would of been waved off as soon as fury's ass hit the canvas, if given the opportunity many of these fights could of been different as well, It's a good job that the ref was there and in the mood he was in on that particular night, some of the best referring I've seen, But fury got up and looked composed and wasn't wobbly, hence why it didn't get waved off.

What is he talking about. The ref didnt say wilder had won every round and for that reason he gave fury a long count. Hr got schooled by fury until that punch. If you cant be honest with yourself then he will never change

Mike Tyson hasnt brought up his knockout of Buster Douglas as much as Wilder tries to make the slow count an issue. And Tyson has had over 30yrs to talk about it...

Y'all treat boxers like wild animals and not like human beings. The count WAS slow compared to others and yes he's talking about it because he was asked a direct question about that moment. The ref even told him why he gave Fury extra time. but why y'all so mad about it though. He's speaking his truth about what actually happened and you can see it on film happening. Wilder haters are the ones in denial. The first fight was a draw. Saved by the ref. Amazing trilogy. Let the man speak his truth. He was asked a simple question.

He can't accept he was beaten fair and square having said that the referee did give fury extra time after the knockdown but fury was still hurt when he got back up and wilder couldn't put him away fury started to beat wilder up right at the end.

Forget the first and let's forget the third fury was sharp as a tack in that second fight. He beat the shyt outta wilder so bad wilder imploded fired Mark breland and came up with the most bizarre excuses ever. Fury WAS NOT sharp in the third fight add him being sloppy got him touched up but in that second fight y'all gotta remember wilder was STOPPED mid fight. Can u imagine if that fight went on

What rubbish. The fact Fury got up and dominated the rest of the round showed the ref did the right thing not waving it off. As for the supposed 'long count', Fury waited for it to get to 8, 9, before he got up. If the count were quicker he would have got up earlier. The man dominated you, three times, Wilder. He's too good for you. Acknowledge it instead of making excuses.

Fury is the better fighter and did well to get up at all. However, the ref took too long to start counting. Like it or not, Fury was down for 10 seconds +

C’mon. Just accept the L. What you lack in talent you make up for it with heart. 3 exciting fights. You came up short in each one. Love the heart you bring but leave the excuses at the door. No one likes to lose but we all respect a man who can gracefully accept defeat. Wilders too prideful to give Fury his flowers

Used to absolutely love this guy now I just see him as a proper salty guy - u got beat just accept it / ur hard as hell but he beat u 2 and 3 I think everyone saying u got beat in first fight apart from two knock downs ain’t true I think u we’re doing good and a lot of it was just antics and looking like he’d done better than he he had- I fact I’d say if it weren’t a draw u win the first one - he won second - obviously ( not gonna say cheating but summit didn’t look right u got thrown around to easy - maybe bad shot behind in ear in early rounds fucked u up - don’t know ?) Third fight no excuses he beat u properly and u can’t give him no credit - lost all respect there and I think u might be racist ( never be beat by a white boy syndrome …. Hopkins - calzaghe ) end of the day Tyson’s no racist and there’s no room for that shit in sport - sometimes a white guy is truly gifted and great and sometimes a black guy is ! You’re both super tough competitors and he just had your number ! Who cares it’s sport and they’re the facts of the three fights - give the man his credit he is a human being like you and worked his ass off - rant over - I’m just truly disappointed honestly think Tyson would have said ( even tho it would hurt )well done If it had gone the other way ! My opinion don’t slay me - I have found both fighters amazing and like both of them

Wilder clearly WON the 1st fight by the 2 knockdowns. without the 2 knockdowns it is a draw, but with the knockdowns it is a win for Wilder. everybody who REwatched the fight KNOWS this. the people who claim that Fury won the 1st fight are clearly haters who never rewatched the fight.

Deontay lying his ass off and the host just agreeing is shameful. 🤦🏽‍♂️ the ref said he didn’t stop it cause fury leg was still up. And it’s a 10 count not 10 seconds. And it doesn’t matter cause he got up and won the rest of that round. Watch the fight back.

Says a guy who got the benefit of the doubt against Ortiz in their first fight. That fight could have been easily called too seeing how he was stumbling all over the ring basically out on his feet. This is a brutal sport and rivals often become close pals afterwards so seeing how it will kill Wilder to give Fury just a tad bit of credit is truly disheartening. Fury basically won all 3 fights more conclusively each fight so it is obvious he is the better fighter. Put them in 20 times, he probably wins all 20 and we know Wilder will take his beating all 20 times without quitting. He has established himself as a warrior so it is sad he has continued this line of excuses and unfounded allegations.

Fury rises from Wilder's knockdown to continue to outbox him for the rest of the fight in the first; Fury sparks Wilder out cold in the second; does the same to a much heavier Wilder in the third. Wilder logic: Sometimes the people around you stack the deck against you. Fury had a crowbar, my team drugged me and the event staff all cheated to allow Fury to beat me. What's understood don't need to be explained.
