Hi! We take it down after Christmas. It ends up staying up about 6 weeks.

Awesome collection! My wife and I are looking to start a village but i want everything to be scaled appropriately. Any thoughts? It appears Dept 56 figures are much too large for the buildings.

Thanks! Definitely do not do snow village if you want it all to be scaled appropriately. I am not too sure about the others. I think Dickens may be to scale much better.

Great setup! Do you find that the light bulbs get too hot under the snow fabric?

Great question! They are Christmas strand lights, and it is no issue. I've seen it done this way from my mom, decades without problems.
