Лучшие из лучших… был наверное на концертах раз 30 с 89 года… реальный фанат с 80х… вся жизнь прошла под их музыку… в прошлом году был в Лондоне на последнем концерте… надеюсь дожить до очередного альбома и поехать опять … аншлаг не прекращается. И очень радостно видеть на их концертах на только старперов как я но и молодежь

The album 101 made a crushing impression on me at the time. During holiday work I met a DM fan and he played me a number of songs, where the atmosphere of the songs immediately made a deep impression on me. During the following holiday with friends to Luxembourg, I bought the album in a local record store, which I played endlessly in my room after returning home. I was 19 at the time, from a small village where little or nothing happened and this album touched me to the deepest fibers of my soul. I am now 54 and the music of Depeche Mode has always remained close to me throughout my life and has comforted and embraced me when I needed it. I only feel love and nostalgia for the era of "101". ♥

I am 23 years old at 88, we are about the same age as DM and most of the audience at the concert. Americans in those years were cool and stylish ❤😊. “88” is our duble infinity, then we are full of energy, overflowing with happiness. I lived in Vladivostok, USSR.

I remember that tour VERY WELL, because I was in the military, stationed at Camp Pendleton..not very far from LA. There I was thinking I was the only Marine in the World, who knew anything about DP...I asked a few buddies of mine, all Marines, different ages..if they wanted to go with me to the concert. This was 3 months before they even started the damn tour...and in those days, there were no smartphones or social media/internet. But I remember like it was yesterday, MTV would always mention tour dates, for these huge bands..and DP was one that they talked a lot about. I bought all the tickets, except for this one guy, who had the nerve to know someone who was a roadie for the fuckin' band, so he got comp'd. Needless to say, we had the time of our lives..and I think we all got laid too,p because we all wore our uniforms (not my idea, but if you get laid, its worth it) Depeche Mode is one of the greatest bands, on Earth...and the reason they stand out from the pack, lies in the fact that there is no band like them. They came along right after pop/new wave was winding down, and we all wanted something edgier. And thats when The Cure, The Cult and Depeche Mode took over from those cheesy Brit' groups that did a little something, but never enough to REALLY grab you by the throat. In other words, the gap between Depeche Mode and Cultre Club, was from here to Saturn. All these yrs later, and they go into the Rock and Roll HoF. And no one in their right mind, debates how necessary that is.
