Max - Depeche Mode has always striven to give their audiences, sound-defining lush soundscapes of electronic fever and rivers of mystic atmosphere. Regardless of the differences in people's music preferences, there's at least one Depeche Mode song, somewhere within their repertoire. Whether people admitted to it or not, that's their problem and not mine. At the risk of dating myself, I was an 80's Goth-kyd, so different people joked about "electronically synthesized" analogue music; especially - if - you didn't live in a large metropolitan region and Depeche Mode was considered "New-wave" music, apart of the so-called, "Second British Invasion". I swore I'd never be forced to listen to another Bruce Springsteen, or, John Cougar Mellencamp song, nasalishly waxing on and on about middle-America - Which, I still haven't. When Dave Gahan was living in the West Hollywood hills, he had great difficulty with depression and suicidal tendencies, because he felt so irrelevant to the music industry. Now, he's revived again with an energetic resurgence, ever since Garage-wave, Dark-wave, Electronica, Dark Synth-wave, Cold-wave, EDM, and nu-Industrial music had flooded the entire Post-Quarantined population, but this was also a Pre-Covid phenomenon, too. Even "happy people" became discontent and depressed, unable to see much of a future; however, it dissolved peoples ordinary music "Selections-bias": "Total-randomization" was achieved through this effect and I'm grateful. I'm much more inclined to write to a much larger segment of the population, because people just - "Get It". I use to undervalue people who made "remixes" or created "mash-ups". Many times I've heard remixed music, which turned out to be better than the original. That's a sacrosanct statement to say for any music purist at heart. Max - Your remixes are stunning and you've honored Depeche Mode's original manifesto. There are only a select few, who get listed into my music database under "mix-masters". Your efforts have garnered the attention of this music reviews editor. ― Cheers to you kid.... !!!
