Thats true..Dave and Alan did get along, A lot of the interviews were with Dave and Alan. And i remember a radio interview back in 1998 Dave admitted that he missed looking back and not seeing Alan playing keys. That was at the beginning of the Singles Tour. I thought that was cool of Dave to say that.

DM have been incredibly lucky. Coz Vince wrote a first pop album that had a major hit on it. Then, luckily, Vince left and Martin had to start to write songs. Another lucky move was to hire Alan Wilder. For me, Depeche realy starts with Get The Balance Right. But their biggest luck was having Daniel Miller as a mentor, producer, father figure, business person. The luck ran out when Alan decided to leave.
