Loved Fletch's dance.Bless him.Nice to see this to remember him💕
@simongardner3766 Жыл бұрын
I remember watching it at the time and all my friends were saying, 'what on earth is Fletch doing?' I think he just wanted to do a bit more perhaps, but it's too distracting having two dancers. Personally I would like to see more clever keyboard rifts being played. Having met them once, Fletch was by far the nicest and best with the fans member of the group. That was his real strength.

This song is currently my favourite DM song. I can't understand why Alan and Martin hate it.
@mswildergore8 жыл бұрын
Maybe because it was too poppy or whatever. In one of the documentaries I remember Alan saying it was going backwards for them, but I mean, most everyone did that back then. Everyone has a variety of songs. I have been listening to a lot of DM lately (again) and I like it. It's been growing on me, lol Now that slow mix on the 12" is another story altogether...

Jmgjgdjd5 I don't get it either, it sounds fine to me. Shake The Disease is fairly poppy too and they don't seem to mind that.

Shake the disease has more complicated lyrics,subjectively ofcourse.

I think this song is awesome - I don’t know why they don’t like it either
@wessexfox51973 жыл бұрын
@@genesekur2742 I think they were kinda pressured to put out a single in between the time of Some Great Reward (1984) and Black Celebration (1986) and thus It’s called a heart (1985) was made in a sort of “oh well the record label want a new song” kinda production with no real passion or ingenuity in regards as to the making of the song. Still a fantastic song though in spite of all that.

Ive always loved this song. Even the slow mix, which although is a travesty because its an early demonstration of timestretching ( via the synclavier?), i never thought it was as bad as they made out. Fly on the windscreen is really good, but its not a side material..too doomy for a pop song.

Удивительно на самом деле, что его голос немного просел со временем. Просто например у Тилля Линдемана я понимаю почему голос сдаёт со временем. Его манера пения, ну прям очень необычная, а у Дэйва вполне классическая техника.

Right? Or maybe some coke/speed/sugar. He's usually dancing and clapping and all, but he is even more spastic than usual during this concert. I mean, when Dave says for everyone to clap their hands, etc. he is not talking to you, Fletch! lol

News of singer Dave Gahan’s death spread quickly earlier this week causing concern among fans across the world. However the May 2020 report has now been confirmed as a complete hoax and just the latest in a string of fake celebrity death reports. Thankfully, Depeche Mode frontman is alive and well.
