Depeche Mode: Memento Mori Vol.2. An AI generated Music Album that I created using Udio AI

Using various tools mainly Udio AI but also myself and Chat GPT (for lyrics), I created a 14 track Depeche Mode style album.
After listening to what is now defunct Andrea Foyer Depeche Mode songs, I decided to do my own Depeche Mode songs. My original plan was to do an EP of 6-8 songs but then I decided to do a 12 track album which I was about to release last Friday (but then I wasn't happy with two of the songs, so I cancelled the release)
Now this album contains two new songs that weren't meant to be on the original release and they are fully generated by Udio lyrics and all and one of the songs being regenerated (Caroline's Redemption)
Disclaimer:
This wasn't created to be replacing the real life band and while some of the song titles that I used may get released by the band themselves, I wanted to have some fun by further the world that is Memento Mori that the band created and was thrilled with the results, that I have decided to release them on my channel and through the links that I will put below.
I have been a fan of this band since playing GTA San Andreas (Personal Jesus) but became an avid fan a couple of years ago when I became more open to new music (for me)
Steps to create your own:
1.Go to Udio.com and create your own account
2. Create a prompt which can have custom lyrics, instrumental or auto (which Udio generates the lyrics)
3. At the top, say what the song is about and then add the tags, male vocalist, electronic, synthpop, rock, alternative rock, dark, rhythmic, melodic, atmospheric, nocturnal, alternative dance, mechanical, cold, longing and sombre
4. Also in some of the tracks, I added some extra tags like Ballad, lonely, soft rock etc.
5. To get Martin, I used the same tags as 3 but added Ballad (between alternative rock and dark), lonely (at the end) but I was lucky to get Martin because the first time, I couldn't get him and it's all about luck to get the voice and instrumental that you like
6. Like I said in 5, it's pot luck what you get in each generation which means you got to keep doing the same prompt until you are happy.
7. Extend the track and like 6, trial and error each generation until you want to end the track (up to 4:22)
8. Best To Rename the track after one extension because sometimes it won't generate a name you want and then at the end, edit the name by just getting rid of the extension name (ext. 1.2.2.1.2 for example)
9. Publish it to the website, put it in a playlist and you can download the song for yourself (if you want)

First off.....thank you not for only doing such a great job in creating this with the site , thank you for letting us know how you did it. you would be surprised how many people do something cool, and they want it to be their own little secret, but you told us how you did it. Thanks for the love, I am actually in the middle of creating another DM AI album called Skeletons and Closets using Udio, I have done 11 tracks with two of them being extras because I am doing deluxe edition album (because one's a remix of a song and one is Dave's version of a Martin lead sung track) also now they upped the maximum length to create a song 15 minutes long (although not a remix song). Other details will be forthcoming soon.

apart from the DM issue, the volumes are a little unbalanced... I find it a good job. "Phantoms" then has an amazing chorus. Good boy

Yes, you can do it with any genre, at the moment I am just doing Depeche Mode because I am working on another album which is actually close to completion (just got 3 more songs to generate) and also it's the only thing I know how to do in the prompts but you can experiment what you think say Bon Jovi could be for example (which I would guess is rock, male vocalist, glam rock etc.) or you could just put the prompt Bon Jovi for example again and because Udio doesn't do exact likeness in the prompts, will give you the tags.

It's not that bad, but that's all. Most of the songs don't even sound like DM. It sounds more pop-rock, something more like Editors maybe.

It's all Dave mainly (with obviously different vocal arrangements in certain songs) except for Invisible where I said in the description I managed to actually get Martin after the previous attempt I couldn't even get Martin, there's obviously in some of the songs Martin sings in the background like he would in real life as well.
