There's more than just politics. The whole contemporaneity seems to be there since by the end of the day all is made of people (wich are, of curse, people (1984)). The first group of marchers is made of men; the second (flag holders), women. "Martin" walks along with the first, then ends up playing along for all. Indeed a masterpiece. The more you watch, the more you find. There's a dagger or crucifix on 1:11 as someone here noticed... Also, the Beatles Revolution would be an interisting listening and the "comparison" (time/context/band/lyrics) would make a good study I guess.
