Depeche mode's performance live in Berlin is powerful. When I hear that crowd so excited and energized, I also feel that energy by watching the video. Even watching the band, seeing on their expressions the enjoyment is obvious. And the background of the women in provocative positions is very artistic and amusing. As I watch this and hear the music I have a renewed feeling of youth, that I didn't appreciate fully when this song came out. Compliments to these artists that they can still do it so well.

Depeche Mode's music transcend the generations and the borders probably because the themes are universal and intemporal and they are treated with no judgement with a taste for borderline and mysterious atmospheres. I discovered Depeche Mode at 17 years old. I am 55 years old. I am now very "in" post romantic music. I especially enjoy composers born in a country whose cats and dogs are banned from international contest. But I am still mesmerised by Dave's voice and Martin's sounds. This concert shows how great they are on stage with cherry on the cake, a French idiom "ça bouge" reminding me the Paris's eighties with the Palace, les Bains etc. Thank you!!!!
