The user interface on this is absolutely outstanding. It’s better than any slider editor I have ever used and I hope they add all the missing features to match all the best sliders out there soon. Hi, well we used our experience to make a product that works for the users not what we think is good for users, we have 3 slider plugins before Depicter and one of them you may know is Master Slider, about why this is free I would like to say there is going to be a pro version available soon which that has more pro features

Well you had me at go... having viewed the slider rev vids, and then when you hit the 'undo' button' I was all in! (old paintshop pro user) haven't found one on Elementor yet , but darn sure need one if it has it. Subscribed. This is the way I want to build entire websites, as if I were working in Figma with the guides and drag n drop, but inside WordPress. The page builder NicePage attempted something like this, but couldn't pull off the speed or elegance. Can't wait to start playing with this one.

The tool is great made, but I wonder if the trend is not more and more towards a full-page experience, i.e. revealing, moving, fading content during the entire scrolling from start to finish? Especially with the increased use of mobile devices (= portrait mode). Optimizing complex slider content isn't easy for all devices and especially not for the header in terms of loading speed, so I think I would rather use it inside the page for very special presentations. Such a great one @paul. At our agency, we extensively use slider rev. which is notoriously bad when it comes to user friendly aspect of it. And of course, Depicter can be a great alternative as it's being free. However, having support to lottie files, custom icon libs etc. could be great addition which will put this on the competitive edge. Cheers 🍻

hi paul, you are a respectful, smart and Trusted man in wordpress community i have a big old problem when i wanna do advanced things in wordpress, i need you to help me and many others like me to solve it there are many new plugins out there which do amazing job but i can not trust a plugin with 10 k installations and 2 years experience like jet form builer, acf frontend form and etc(who knows if they will survive). i know they're probebly the next big thing in wordpress but right now i can not trust them for the future of my websites please introduce us populer truthworthy and advanced plugins who do the same thing ( specially for advanced front end forms, map front end relationship to backend relationship field and jet engien real and powerful alternative and etc)

Not a bad plugin. However, this thing probably uses a shit ton of js and can probably tank your page speed insight scores. Any try with psi?

I just added the slider to site I have with Bricks builder and it brought the score down only slightly. I had 87 mobile score on Google page speed insights and now down to 84. Not bad. Still have A grade on gtmetrix. Not sure how it would score on an Elementor site tho

We do care about the performance too much, Depicter has been developed with react and still there are some thing in our to-do list to improve the performance better and better, right now the slide 1 animation duration also is a factor to get a better performance so try to work with them and make them shorter if you did not get the performance you want. Which I have to say the animation duration should not effect on performance but right now tools to measure the performance cannot handle that, so it is a bug on those tools, but if you want you can make them shorter, just to let you know ;)

Well, it seems a nice slider whoever introduced. But after its activation its immediately started popup error 403 which is very annoying because its popup nonstop. I think its happening because WordPress never ever sell anything for 100% free. & this plugin is not available in WordPress. It has to popup error for sure, because who is gonna buy WordPress plugins if this amazing plugin available for free. All the functions you operated sir, it cannot be saved & go in preview because the 403 keep popup like pain in the **s of WordPress. 😄 But i like your channel because i have learn many things from you. Thank you Sir. Plz keep giving us new info about the new apps which we can use to improve our websites performance.

It should work with any page builder or block tool as it's independent of those and just use a shortcode or dedicated widget to insert it into the design.

What a fantastic find, Paul, great video, and kudos to @Depicter for the functionality in the free version (btw, they now have Pro and Agency packages ... e.g. enhanced data sources, with 40% off for Cyber Monday). Two questions: (1) If Depicter is all 'standard code' i.e. HTML5/CSS, could Elementor theoretically do all of this, time permitting? (2) If the slider runs from a shortcode, could the slider appear in an Elementor popup or even an off-screen canvas? I'm thinking snazzy forms and menus.

Thank you very much for this hint! A small criticism: you tell us what this app can do (and it's awesome) but didn't tell what it can NOT do. As far as I can see, it has no timeline. So it's no substitute for "Slider Revolution". I even couldn't find any template with auto slide and loop. Not possbible? As this is too much to be free, I wonder who is behind this and why they do this. If someone doesn't make themselves known, I get suspicious. Finally you can't use custom fonts. So it's against the law of GDPR in Europe. Nevertheless I will have a deeper look at it and keep this in mind.
