Thanks for this upload was considering aws to host my portfolio, I think I'll stay with heroku for a while 😂

Really helpful video, thanks for this! Was wondering if you could clarify something on the Dockerfile: Why are you copying the node module bin to the image's path at 5:03 ?

Learned so much in such a short video. Thanks a lot Dylan. It'd be really helpful to learn about the details of each step how /what they are like regarding Docker script, load balancer, security group, etc... although I understood majority of the things, but just a suggestion that you can create separate videos for each of those steps mentioned in this video to explain their purpose and working. Thanks a lot.

Amazing Video ! But, I want to know how to do the Sign Up, Login & other MFA if I already have a existing backend in AWS Cognito . And have the below details of the existing backend :- aws_cognito_identity_pool_id: aws_cognito_region: aws_user_pools_id: aws_user_pools_web_client_id: I hope this question will generate curiosity in you. Please make a separate vdo on this topic

Thanks for uploading tutorial on AWS EC2. I have react app with typescript and redux and am trying to deploy it to AWS. I have followed all the steps on the video but I am getting a timeout error. Would you have some idea why it is not working?

All your tut videos are for advanced web developers, ...but i wish you could do video like this for beginners web devs , cause i have no idea what you just did... lol..

I hear ya, and appreciate the feedback. What’s your background or skill set today? Starting from there, I may be able to get a better idea of where you’re at in your career journey and what level of detail you’ll need

@@dylangonzales Im Frontend web dev Javascript | React Js | Next Js...... I try dozens of times .. and lots of hours breaking my head to deploy something simple to "aws", ..but i gave up and went somewhere else like Netlify, Vercel, Heroku, ... even Digital Ocean ..or Azure, is less complicated than "aws'. But thankx for your reply. 👍

@@romimaximus I can see where ur coming from. Honestly watch @dylangonzales navigate through the AWS windows was stressing me out. Two years later the UI can change the options may be different, or i might just miss some detail. It's a bit more context required but using something like Terraform that defines the AWS infra as code helps me a lot

Hi, I am new in AWS. I wanted to ask you if you want to have a HTTPS web site and not a HTTP web site in AWS. How would it be? because in the video you used the HTTP. Thanks
@dylangonzales2 жыл бұрын
For HTTPS you just need to get a certificate for your URL through Amazon Certificate Manager, add another listener on your load balancer for port 443, and create an alias record in Route 53 that points traffic to your load balancer!

I love that this video is only 20 mins. Rather than skipping through a 1.5 hour video that's got way too much backstory
