In this video, I demonstrated how to deploy a web application to Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) using various tools such as EC2, Docker, Elastic Container Registry (ECR), Application Load Balancer in AWS
I started by introducing the resources used in this project and then I showed how to create an EC2 instance and install Docker on it.
Next, the video explains how to containerize the web application using Docker and how to push the container image to Amazon Elastic Container Registry (ECR). It then shows how to create an ECS cluster, ECS Service and Task Definition that specifies how the container should be run.
I then showed how to create a load balancer that distributes traffic evenly across the instances in the ECS cluster. It covers how to configure the load balancer to use the ECS task definition and how to set up health checks to ensure that traffic is only routed to healthy instances.
Finally, I demonstrated how the the web application was deployed to Amazon ECS cluster and how to test that it is working properly.
