Deploy Django on ElasticBeanstalk with no Downtime

Hello, I am Obakunle Oluseye, In this video, I'll show you how to deploy a Django application to AWS Elastic Beanstalk using the blue-green deployment strategy. This strategy allows you to minimize downtime and reduce the risk associated with application updates.

How did you solve the errors, because you're health status was red.

My health status was red because requests were consistently failing, In our case the logs said (100%) , If I had reloaded the page multiple times after the deployment process was successful , the health status would have been back to OK since our request where no longer failing . Alternatively , Elasticbeanstalk allows you to set a path for health checks, If you specify a path, like /health-check the health check url will be httpx://your_domain/health-check, that way your health status is not failed if another path or endpoint returns a failed status.
