After restarting apache, I'm getting a 403 forbidden instead of a laravel error. Anyone know how to fix it?

There might be several reasons. Can you double check that: 1. Apache rewrite module is enabled? 2. The virtual host file has correct directory configured? 3. What is the permission of the project? 4. Did you enable virtual host file? Again double check virtual host file's content.

Just bought vps from hostinger one week ago. Im like happy but seems overwhelming. I installed ubuntu with cloudpanel and thats it. No console. No apache. No git. No nothing. 😂 But im like little afraid 😳 about security and how to implement.

That's something new to me. Do you have right now everything you need? Apache? MySql?

@@TheCodeholic well. My server seems to be nginx. No apache. From hostinger panel dont instal plain os. Instead use the left one option. The first option. Then select free cpnael to use. Strted with hestia wich i faced complications. Then jumped to cloudpanel by resetting the vps server os from scratch. With clodpanel im pretty happy. But i do face challenges. Well im newbie on vps.

I use forge, they are very helpful if youre not knowledgeable enough , which I wasnt (didnt do much devops work in college which i just graduated from recently) - one of their people went 60 emails deep with me to help me get my thing online, because I was super frustrated and also just not in a great headspace to deploy my site on my VPS that i purchased with little knowledge of how delicate it was to set up... this video kind of eliminates the need for them, the only thing not included in this video is nginx , which im not sure how crucial it is to the process. The Forge dude was able to log into my account and deploy my server for me and configure that, this is pre-chat gpt though. This tutorial was amazing though and something I really wish I had when I got my VPS.
