I would say that if I want to distribute desktop application to public I am definitely don't wanna use microsoft store. 😁

I could see that! It is a hassle as opposed to self-distributing. I think there are benefits in terms of discoverability and perceived security though. I'm not sure I would reach for the Microsoft Store right away either, but I'm interested in how the process goes.

Part 2 that includes automatic updates? I have been exploring with deploying new releases to some sort of blob storage where the msix installer can check for updates. Msix is pretty cool

Maybe! I haven't looked into auto updates, but that doesn't sound so bad. Would be useful!

To distribute windows application only in maui so i have remove other target platforms when try to publish using side loading. Generateappx package does not exist issue occur. How to resolve?

i thinking of going with maui or react native . I am currently going to go for final year so i want to try maui for making final year project so should i go with maui or react native

As of 2023, I would go React Native. It's more proven at this point. I also love React and write it everyday, so I might be a tad biased 😁
