What about if you are hosting a blazor server app OnPrem between two webservers that are load balanced? How do I get my WebSocket to stay "Connected" through a load balancer? I am already using sticky sessions.

Any recommendations for load testing Blazor Server? I just launched a Blazor Server app using SignalR Service to only 100 users and got crushed by SignalR handshake exceptions. Thanks for these short and too the point Blazor tutorials, great stuff. Love to see one on load testing.

Hi carl, thnx for those videos its really helpful. We have a blazor app where for 10+ users only we got bill of $8k monthly bill from azure where signalr is only $5k+. So, we moved to IIS as work around and deployed there with different websites for each 10+ user to avoid crashing due to singalr performance and routing all to one parent website using dns mapping. Since this is very time consuming process so now we r planning to move to docker container n kubernetes. Can you suggest what we are missing and what will be good?

Hi there. Carl says that if you’re paying that much money for a 10 user app it’s either that the VM, the SQL server, or some other resource is over-provisioned. It should only cost you a couple hundred a month.

@Sinha, you may have seen this already: docs.microsoft.com/en-us/aspnet/core/signalr/scale?view=aspnetcore-3.1 For load balancer w/o sticky sessions, I'd recommend asking Microsoft on their GitHub page: github.com/dotnet/aspnetcore/issues/

My understanding is that server affinity (stickiness) is enabled by default if you're using Azure SignalR Service
