Deploying pyRevit

I actually like the idea of having a extension in a folder on a server that is write-protected. i've been messing around with the CLI, but when I try to manually set the userextensions folder to something say... ["\\serv\\pyrevit"] the path seems to be updated correctly in the config, but it shows up as a series of empty entries in the user extensions menu in the pyrevit options.

Hi ! thanks for exemplary work on this, i have a question if its is possible to installPyRevit to only one version of Revit ( i have Revit 2018 and 2016 and i just want to install PyRevit to Revit 2016)

Yes. You can enable/disable pyRevit from the Settings window. Look at the pyRevit cli help also. After installation you can detach from all installed Revits and attach to whichever version you want.
