🆕Deploying your SERVERLESS applications easily with AWS SAM PIPELINES and GITHUB ACTIONS

We all love serverless because it is so easy to build your apps, but what happen when we want to deploy them to the cloud using good practices like CICD? Building those pipelines is a lot of work and require a lot of knowledge that as developers we don't have. Luckily AWS SAM launched a new capability called SAM Pipelines that create a CICD pipeline automatically for you and all the AWS resources needed for the continuous deployment service of your choice to deploy your app.
SAM pipelines is available for 4 different CICD services: Github actions, Gitlabs, Jenkins and CodePipeline. In this video I show you how easy is to create a Github actions pipeline with this new capability and deploy your serverless application in the cloud.

What an amazing content! Thanks for that! I’d like to leave a video suggestion if you don’t mind (maybe others would also enjoy to watch that content, ‘cause I didn’t find a good source covering that yet). I’m almost done with the implementation of an Appsync + Lambda + Serverless Framework app, but still need to figure out a proper way to handle logging. Since Lambda sends logs to Clodwatch asynchronously via stdout, I thought about: log data on Lambda > send log to Cloudwatch > Send log from Cloudwatch to Kinesis > Stream data from Kinesis to Elasticsearch. Is that a practical approach or have you used a better method? Would love to see a video with Serverless Framework streaming logs from Lambda to Elasticsearch 🚀
