The "Brekete Family" and the "Ordinary President", my question is this: Why should there be a commission called "The Nigerian Diaspora Commission"? This Commission is supposed to be a small Department or Unit of the Federal Ministry of External (or Foreign) Affairs. Why the duplication of duties? Anywhere in the world, it is the Ministry of External Affairs that does the inter-country affairs and not a Commission. The issue in Turkey against Nigerian citizens is the responsibility of the Nigerian Embassy in Turkey and not the NDC. The Nigerians Diaspora Commission should be scrapped because it is useless and a waste of recourses.

Secretary of Nigerian high commission in quarter is a Kenyan. Wow! Bravo Nigeria….i went to get my Nigerian passport at the Nigerian embassy in the U.S. after all the pain they put me and my daughter through just to get the NIN number traveling so many kilometers to get it paying so much for it. We never received our passport till today. Spent over &500 for me and daughter, all the inconvenience of traveling to that state. They said we have to reapply. You see Nigeria doesn’t just need Gods help but Nigerians need to make up their minds to change. Once they have one elevated office they use it for evil instead of good forgetting that that evil will entangle and destroy them too. Embassies do recruit local staff. Nothing odd there. We mustn't project xenophobia here, when we have serious credible issues to deal with. Nigerians are employed in various countries including as staff of various embassies and multilateral missions. Ngerians are heads of various agencies in US, UK, etc. One is chancellor of a UK university. Let's keep to the main issue.
