This EP/7" completely changed my life. One of the best records of all time, and never gets old. A sound that is 100% their own and can never be duplicated... Thank you.

I always played in metal bands, heavier shit like death metal but living in north Jersey close to NYC I always had a ton of respect and love for the NYHC guys and even the "real" punks. COT was one of the bands that had NYC moshing again in the 90's NYHC resurgence. This is a great EP. I prefer these songs over the original recordings. Danny's vocals are just much heavier here than on Mentally Vexed.

Awesome things about this album besides the music: Style Wars sound bites before a few tracks, and the documentary from the 80's about hardcore and CBGBs on sundays being "thrash day"...LoL...I remember seeing that shit on tv back in 87 or so.

Funny cause sheer terror lost a good record deal because of biohazard ...the guys who signed bio was suppose to sign sheer terror and a big cluster f. Happened and sheer were not too fond of ☣....
@ricklindberg4228Ай бұрын
Sheer Terror is miles ahead of Boihazard. Heavier and more original. Evanhazard is one of the worst hardcore singers ever and his band is one of the most overrated.

it took me forever to get into these guys, i do love Skarhead though, but as time goes on i see how orginal they are and such a Ny feel to it, and though some books like american hardcore and the creeps at MRR deny Ny, just look at the rest of the world, the kids are as honest as it gets and only critics that matter and Ny is the most copied ( with love and respect) scene.
@CriticalPedagogy7 жыл бұрын
TMT81 yup! MRR are wack in their conception of HC.
@MaximusWolfe2 жыл бұрын
Crown of Thornz was weak as fuck, dude. Skarhead was actually worse. Danny’s rap albums make psychopathic and sub noize rappers seem like company flow or Wu Tang. Impossibly awful.

It really hurts the listening experience. When I first got the EP the “Skinhead thrash day” news report was such a great way to start. The fact that it goes into an incredibly thick and slow set of riffs before Ezec goes nuts on Juggernaut just adds to the power, it is a cohesive experience. This way, it is a collection of really great NYHC, but it doesn’t feel cohesive.
