True when she was solo as shachimu she did the same as lemonleaf, small covers as memes mostly, funny games, and just random stuff. Not constant travel to train in dance of straight singing not for fun, and also it is 100% more by the books 9/5 job now since they are publicly owned and subject to japans strict business guidelines. Dangit. I was just watching Nene Amano's re-debut after Kawaii collapsed, and now this news drops. Is there any more hope? Parrot Niji, dead Kawaii, Holo graduations. Corpo vtubing is dead. I can only hope that indie vtubing comes in full force, and completely breaks up the corpo monopoly on vtubing. I expect that smaller more streaming focused companies like VShojo will pop up. It was really amazing that Kawaii vtubers were able to keep their models and brands, but I expect that we'll be seeing a lot of "new" vtubers suddenly start appearing. Also, the Lemon meme posting was amazing. I'm all in for that.

The scary thing is Fauna was not one of the ones I would've guessed would be graduating next. I had a few in mind that I wouldn't be shocked if they graduated and Ame was near the top of that list prior to her announcement too. Right now I think Gura, Ina, Mumei, Kronii, Laplus, and Shion are on my watchlist. I worry for Advent and Justice as I really like them and hope they will be around much longer. Shiori and Gigi are my favs and they are the least subbed of their groups.

Now that Cover Corp has gone public the shareholders ofc will have more stake on how the company will run. So yes expect ongoing massive changes, especially when the investors would want to push for a company direction like what Nijisanji is at-- paying talents peanuts while they get all of the profits. Of course I hope this doesn't happen... But investors almost never have the employees' best interest in mind most of the time. Edit: I forgot that they already went public last year, my sense of time is effed up. Sorry for that!

I can agree that maybe going public saved them from the japan economy dip, and it allowed them to make a lot more concerts, but we will have to see if people are on board with all these changes, both talents and viewers. A lot, A LOT of people just wants them to stream and not the whole idol thing

Holo had so many collabs like the dodgers event, not to mention talents' solo concerts like Suisei's latest one-- idk where did you pull up the statement that Hololive is going "bankrupt." Also when they planned to go public they wouldn't present their company in a way that they're in dire need of money, who would invest money in a company operating on a loss? So the company went public. Yagoo publicly stated that he wanted to focus on propping up current talents instead of acceleration. Since then has debuted 4 waves. And at the same time the company lost many staples. A whole bunch of talents are moving to JP presumably to make use of the in house studio. But I suspect it's a similar contract clause like Niji contracts where the agency can mandate that they require talents to travel wherever they require them too. Out of pocket and presumably they get reimbursed. With that in mind. I can see ppl moving to JP to save them the cost of constantly travelling. There was definitely a major shift in the company. Whether its in direction or policy, remains to be seen. But the loss of A-chan and Ame is very telling. Fubuki is the next one to watch out for. She's one of the last load bearing pillsrs of the company.
