Its 1:30 in the morning and I am so tired but cannot sleep due to incredible noise in my ears. I have no medical insurance as I get my health care from the Veterans hospital. It is very difficult to get help on a timely basis. I keep hearing that it may be better for me not to be here rather than have this loud ringing in my ears. I dont know if I can make it. I really dont.

Hi, thanks for this video. I've been dealing with tinnitus since a month and I was already working with a therapist because I already suffered from anxiety. This condition gave me the worst anxiety I've ever felt. I hope that I'll learn how to deal with it :)

It does cause a great deal of anxiety and insomnia among other things. I have had it for 20 years, if you have only had it one month maybe its temporary.

Pretty wild just how powerful something as seemingly insignificant as a ringing in your ear can be. I have suffered from moderate to sever tinitus for upwards of half a year now following a diving accident and to me the most horrible part about it is when you try to sleep. The actual ringing itself is not what keeps me up (although it is extremely annoying) but mainly I find that my fight or flight mode is activated which causes an adrenal burst and I get things like flashing lights behind my eyes and just feel so restless... I really hope this is temporary because if it's not I've got a hell of a journey ahead.

You can t controll tinnitus,if is it very laud , you will fall on the street same day , beaucause off years with no sleep.

Yesterday my tinnitus was very low, almost gone. I’ve been working out and walking a lot and today I feel like lead and my tinnitus is stronger. I’m going to relax today. That usually brings it way down where I can just ignore it. I try not to focus on it.
