Great work guys!! I totally understand that this is new for you all and that you will have to learn the terminology. Here's a handful for you >>> (This is all based off the districts I volunteer for) Polecat your apparatus would be an Engine, Jeff's would likely be a Water Tender (Most tenders in my district are dual axle to handle the extra weight), the EMS Ambulances are called Medics. Truck refers to the Ladder Truck and carries no water, where the Engine carries water. The Chief Rig would be C24 or C81 that way dispatch doesn't have to say every word. TIC = Thermal Imaging Camera The only "working hose" on the engine and tender is called the deck gun or monitor. When you contact dispatch as a Chief or Firefighter it would be "Dispatch from C24 or E24/E32". When you arrive on scene of a fire, the OIC or Officer In Charge would do a 360 of the Structure and make a report to Command that you have smoke showing or a fully involved structure. Sorry for spewing all this knowledge but figured it'd be good for you all to know! Again great work and I love the videos! I can't wait for the next episodes!!

The bigger truck with the tandem axles ( the one with no water cannon) is the tanker that would normally be used to haul water to rural scenes that doesnt have a water source. You should do a volunteer setup so it shows you guys coming from various location in the area, Great video Polecat.

I just absolutely love this. Just this episode seeing GTAV turn into a fire sim just is awesome. I'd love to see where this goes. Hopefully the CZ gang will learn some new things and lingo soon, i.e. Striking another alarm and water cannons etc. DOJ gets more and more impressive each time I see.

Great video Polecat, just a few helping tips for the fire side of things. Fire departments usually use a lot of plain language in transmissions. The single wheel in the rear are engines, double wheel are tanker, usually they are both called engines and each unit when responding to calls tells dispatch there own unit id for responding, on scene, returning and in quarters. Usually the chief takes charge of the highest commanding officer. The TIC is the thermal imaging camera. Mutual aid is other town aid. Usually the driver puts an air pack on out of the truck and if you even have two guys the one in the officer seat(passenger seat) does all the transmissions. Otherwise all good! Keep up the good content!!

I'll help you, Fire Department and EMS don't use codes like cops, and say E-24 or E-32, and when going into a burning building ALWAYS have another FF with you, NEVER go into a burning building alone, when it's a car fire with gas leak use the cannon because you can't be close to the car especially with burning fuel since it can cause an explosion, if you need anymore help you can just comment on here or my twitter witch is my username on here, and you should ALWAYS have EMS and police on stream, so the EMS and police should follow or get there first so the traffic is contained

In the county I live in when there is a call the 911 center sends out tones over the radio to activate the fire siren at the appropriate company and then the volunteers that live close that can hear the siren come to the fire dept and the ones that live away have beepers. Almost all of our fire departments are volunteer, out of the 11 departments in the county there are only 6 paid individuals and 3-4 paid EMTs and Paramedics.

Great episode polecat. By far the best fire ems one yet. To help here ya go. A truck Ruth just equipment and personnel is just called ENGINE and a number assigned ladder trucks are called LADDER and a number and pumper trucks are called PUMPER and a number assigned and the acc ambulance is called FIRE RESCUE and a number. TIC= Thermal Imaging Camera, detects heat inside walls via infrared radiation as visible light. Really hot areas will glow white, while cold will be darker. (depending on which TIC you are using)

What our FD does is when they go to get fuel they just say "Engine [number] Garrett Central; Engine [number] go ahead ;Show engine [engine number] out of service, going to get fuel" and then when your ready just tell them your back in service.

I'm a volunteer and we use 4 digit code for example, a station would be station 6200, we have 3 engines, which are 6201, 6203, and 6204, a mini pumper which is 6202, a tender/tanker which is 6211, a brush truck which is 6231 and a ladder truck which is 6216. Personnel numbers for example the cheif is 6299, assistant chief is 6298, captains are from 6290 to 6297 and the rest of the personnel or plain Firefighters are 6289 and down

Robert Muller also, our 911 dispatch center covers 3 county's and for each county the fire departments have different stating numbers, one county ranges from 4100 to 4900, ems in that county is station 4000, the next county is 5000 to 5900 and the last county is 6000 to 6900

I just want to put this out there not to criticize you but so you can use this for next time The truck with the tandem (double) wheels in the back is probably a tanker, it supplies water to the engine which has the deck gun Also, In a fire situation if you can you should always try to send someone to do a primary search to make sure there are no victims, and for buildings get someone on the roof to ventilate. When police get on scene they can interview witnesses to see if they can find out if the fire is suspicious But I have to say, that was pretty awesome!
