Just noticed there are ads at the start of this - sorry, that's all KZbin, not me! Also, as you'll notice, this is 2 episodes together. I've separated the rest out individually for the playlist on my page!

No need to apologize. If it weren’t for those ads, you wouldn’t be able to post this pirated content.

@@zelmoziggy No, I have a 35-year-old audio tape, KZbin is making money off someone else's content (The Radio Foundation) in case you're hunting for pirates

Internet Archive has 434 Bob and Ray Shows. Many from their time on WNBC and WOR radio. Bob And Ray were on in Boston. But became national attention while in NYC. Their PBS are all rehash of skits done many years before their stint in the 70's-80's. Also Chris Elliot is Bob's son.

They played these on Friday nights when i was a kid. I loved them so much then and am so happy to hear them again. Thank you.

I absolutely loved this show back in the day. Their comedy doesn’t age.

Pure nostalgia! My Dad had 3 volumes of cassette tapes of classic B&R I wore out playing them overandover again as a kid. Their comedy is timeless and wholesome and revolutionary -- Bob and Ray essentially invented the drive time, "morning zoo" radio shows copied by Opie and Anthony, and Howard Stern. @deputay Thank you!

You're welcome! And please check out the B&R playlist on my page. We might have had the same tapes - I played these a lot & had to upload them when I couldn't find them on here. Enjoy & Happy New Year!

Have a photo offered free from this NPR show in a place of honor on my fridge. Bob and Ray: never mean-spirited, always funny. God bless them.

Hurrah! I'm a life long Bob and Ray fan and the NPR show in the 80s was possibly my favorite of their work. It's all genius,though and like you ,I cassette recorded them every week. I may still have the cassettes but nothing to play them on! I just subscribed and look forward to your posts! Thank you!

I wish you had kept the credits and closing stinger for each episode, but it was great to hear these again. We used to borrow cassette tapes from the library of Bob & Ray Public Radio Shows to listen to during vacations. The "turns out this stuff was lead after all" line got one of the series' biggest laughs, I think.
@deputay2 жыл бұрын
The tape ran out for this one, but if you check the other B&R episodes in the playlist on my page, you'll hear the credits. (Plus, I was 10 years old when I received these tapes, and I assure you I didn't know otherwise!)

Yes, these are available in digital stereo, high fidelity for a nominal charge. However, I realise that many of your prefer monaural, low fidelity, so I would not dare to pee in your cornflakes. ...so to speak...
