Fine Gael dropped our rejection rates of Georgians, Nigerian, Algerians and more from 90-100% and moved them to 10-15%. They did that for 3 years and created this crisis. The rest of the EU kept rejecting these people. Ireland never had demand from Syrians, Afghans, etc. They're accepted anywhere.

It transpires that most of the asylum seekers in the tents in Dublin catch buses in the morning as witnessed by locals and go to work in the black economy and are employed by employers looking for cheap labour.
