Deputy prime minister questioned about Gaza mass graves reports in relation to Israel arms sales

Scottish National Party MP, Mhairi Black, asked Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden on Wednesday whether reports of mass graves in Gaza would constitute war crimes and if it would be a reason to suspend arms sales to Israel.
Black emphasised that when similar reports surfaced from Ukraine two years ago, the British government condemned Russia and treated it as evidence of war crimes.
Dowden responded that the British government would “urge” Israel to investigate such reports and criticised Black for “drawing parallels” between Russia and Israel.
