Was für eine fesselnde Interpretation! Welcher Ausdruck in der Wortbehandlung. Wie schön die Stimme sehr musikalisch mit dem Orchester harmoniert hat, manchmal ist es einem kalt und heiss den Rücken „hinunter gefahren“. Was für ein hübsches Kleid, das wahrscheinlich von Frau Mühlemann‘s Mutter geschneidert wurde. Auch dafür ein grosses Kompliment! Alles Gute für Sie wünschen Ihnen Ihre Zimmermänner!

Fantastic rendition of this amazing lied! She makes 4 completely different characters and vocal personas as the song famously requires, the narrator, the child, the father and the Erlkönig. Always a consumate performer besides a very talented singer with a wonderful timbre. ;-)

Yet another absolutely breathtaking performance from Regula. The Erlkoenig is very different from the lively 'all smiles'pieces I tend to associate with Regula. Here she shows that she can deliver to perfection a Lieder which requires very powerful, almost fierce singing .

Regula is not 'miked'. Her wonderful voice needs no amplification The live audience at this open air concert at Gmunden heard her unamplified. The microphones are there because the concert was being broadcast on Austrian TV and Radio. (See the ORF LIVE in the top left corner of the screen.)

Sie ist wahrscheinlich eine gute Opernsängern, aber ein Kunstlied ist keine Opernarie.. Stimmenwechsel zwischen Sohn, Vater, Erlkönig gelingt nun gar nicht. Klingt alles gleich.

Finde ich nicht. Ich finde das Lied sehr gut ausgearbeitet. Ein lyrischer Sopran ist nun mal kein Bariton. Die Bariton-Stimme ist die mit den meisten Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten (ich bin selber Bariton). Ein Sopran bringt den Farbenreichtum eines Baritons einfach nicht hin, das liegt in der Natur des Körpers. Aber Regula Mühlemann liefert hier einen sensationell guten Job, finde ich. Übrigens sollten Sie beachten, dass bei dieser Bearbeitung des "Erlkönigs" ein ganzes Orchester spielt. Wenn ich ein Orchester hinter mir habe, singe ich anders, als wenn ich vor einem Flügel stehe. Gezwungenermassen.
