The films were shot on video. You can't expect anything here. The image quality doesn't feel like true HD.

The image quality is better than the old DVD, but not comparable to the quality of the series. Maybe the reunion movies don't have better masters...

@@Puffi83 The reunion movies were shot on 35mm film but edited on to a video master, reducing the picture quality, like many shows from the 80's/early 90's. If the original 35mm film elements still exist then they can be re-scanned for a HD picture.
