In 1931 when my brother and I started skiing at Mount Rainer in the state of Washington, this film called Ski Chase in America, got us hooked on skiing. A great movie at the time (and still is)

SUperbe..!! des images boycotées pendant plusieurs année et pour cause le réalisateur d'origine n'etait pas "blanc comme neige" dans une période trouble..magnifiquement réhabilitée par cette musique qui lui redonne un peu de légereté la bienvenue. bravo au monteur !

A great montage, and re-edit from "The White Flame." (1931) Directed by German mountain film pioneer Arnold Fanck. The film starred Leni Riefenstahl. Fanck later got into trouble for refusing to cooperate with the Nazi party. Leni on the other hand became a Hitler favorite... and would go on to direct films such as "Triumph of the Will." (1935)
