You're being conned by an oil company lobbyist. Smith Timeline Cliff Notes $2.1 billion LOST by UCP on Teachers Pension Fund $75,000 wasted on an unusable children's medication from Turkey. Rewrote the rules on conflict of interest so she could get gifts and benefits from corporate heads. Said she wasn't going to go after our CPP and then she got elected and now she is. (gotta find somewhere to get money to pay the oil companies to clean up the messes THEY MADE AND WELLS THEY ABANDONED). Gave $500 help on consumers power bills and then she got elected and promptly started clawing it back. Promised a tax break then said no, going to put money into the Heritage Fund for Alberta's future....and now she wants to raid the Fund to give money to the oil companies. Is paying the oil companies $100 million to clean up their own messes when their contracts required that they pay for their own clean up costs. Cut funding to AHS and now is demanding that if they don't perform better, hospitals will be handed over to a religious institution. Catholics will get to decide what your medical treatments will look like. At the same time, no additional doctors or nurses and they are leaving in droves. Cut funding to fire fighting services in 2023. Albertans' have seen a 128% increase in power costs and no help from this government. Drove out 33 new renewable projects so that means 24,000 jobs gone. Reorganize AHS at a cost of $85 million. Wants to start paying for an Alberta police force at a cost of about $734 million annually ($300 million to. set up) instead of paying 30% of what the RCMP cost in this province. We'll get to pay the full cost. Rejects the idea that the UCP are obligated to stand by Albertan's referendum votes. She rejected Bill 2. Banned cities from upgrading building codes so that houses are built better for energy efficiency. Her way to support the oil/gas companies by guaranteeing sales! Capped the budget for investigation of child deaths in government care. So if too many kids die, Alberta won't investigate those suspicious deaths. Too bad kiddies. Opened a UCP office in Ottawa. Cost a couple $million. Why? Cut funding to Lethbridges Elder Abuse prevention office. Rejected free diabetic medications and birth control. Refuses to honour requests for information by the public. No Freedom of Information in Alberta. Air quality in Alberta is 9x worse than anywhere in Canada. And they plan on using our CPP(APP) to support paying the oil companies to clean up their abandoned oil/gas wells. Banning voting tabulating machines which will cost about $1 million per municipality to count votes by hand and with potentially much less accuracy. There is still more bad decisions, but this is getting long. And this is who you think is a good premier! She is not good for Alberta in any sense of the word. (ps. I can give you links on any of these items) And I'm also willing to bet that it was completely Smith's plan to discredit Mayor Gondek and NDP leader Named Nenshee by killing the Greenline plan after they'd promised their share of funding and once the city of Calgary was deeply tied into $millions of dollars of contracts that will cost the city as they unwind them. (They later reinstate their participation in mid October There is still more bad decisions, but this is getting long. And this is who you think is a good premier! She is not good for Alberta in any sense of the word. (ps. I can give you links on any of these items)

She's not protecting the economy. If she was interested in our future, she'd be looking to diversify our economy instead of putting all our eggs in one basket. She actually chased away 34000 jobs with her renewable moratorium. That's what she did for you. Nothing. Not to mention, wanting to raid the Heritage Fund to pay oil companies to clean up THEIR ABANDONED OIL WELLS. How nice eh? Make a mess and then get the tax payers to pay to clean it up. There'll be no Heritage Fund when oil fizzles out in 10 or 15 years and now we have nothing. That's when she'll have to institute a PST to pay for roads and such.
