@@crystalwagner5993 Or she stole the baby because she wanted a baby, but couldn’t have one of her own for one reason or another, which led to her mental state deteriorating to the point where she decided to steal someone else’s baby. Odds are that she knew the mother of the baby prior to this (abductions are usually committed by people who are close to the victims) and was jealous that she had a baby, so she stole the baby to keep her as her own. She might’ve even deluded herself into believing that it really was her baby. This happens far more often than you might expect. Just look it up and you’ll find many cases of deranged women stealing babies from their friends and family.
