I have a sport xrc. I did the shock therapy dual spring and shock revalue. What a difference it makes. Dude you need to trust your machine your holding it back. My xrc is unstoppable.

I just saw that Joe’s Talon was on the Shock Therapy live show guessing the vehicle weight. I geeked out to myself saying hey I know those guys! 🤣 I need to explore at Sand Hollow more, because even though I live in St George I just haven’t ridden out there very much at all. I like your comm’s recording. Sounds good! 👍👍😎

Some how you guys started out backwards on Plan B. I think after the first few obstacles you are heading back on the return trail. That last big drop you should be going the other way. I've done Plan a couple of times, first time with CST Rally people. I want to hook up with you guys sometime. I have a place in the Pine Valley area that go to every couple of months.

Good video guys! On the xrc before u did the shock upgrade did widening it out with aftermarket wheels help with stability much? And did u have ur sway bars disconnected then?
@DerangedOffRoad4 жыл бұрын
The wider wheels do help with stability, but at the cost of extra feedback on the steering wheel. I wouldn't recommend a 4+3 wheel. Maybe a 5+2 offset at most. I disconnected the front sway bar a few weeks into having the sxs. It improves the ride comfort somewhat, but not drastically. The rear is still on

Needs engine noise i think. Better experience than just quietness.
@DerangedOffRoad4 жыл бұрын
Definitely agree. Still working some kinks out of the new system. The in car stuff only records what is transmitted through the headsets. We’ll make it better next time
@TheCOM4 жыл бұрын
Maybe music instead of engine noise. I can listen to engine noise on my own rides...😉
@TheCOM4 жыл бұрын
@@DerangedOffRoad if you want the engine noise and an open mic just turn the VOX all the way down and it will open the mic.
@DerangedOffRoad4 жыл бұрын
I suppose that's an option, but that defeats one of the biggest reasons I went with headsets. I personally don't want to listen to the engine especially through amplified microphone.
@TheCOM4 жыл бұрын
@@DerangedOffRoad I am the same way. I don't like the engine noise I was just giving you a solution. I would recommend connecting a phone to the intercom and listening to music. It too will mute as you speak. If you don't have the Bluetooth intercom you can connect it via a 3.5 mm TRRS cable to your phone through the audio in port and play music and take phone calls and all that other good stuff.

So I’m looking at getting a new ride. I am considering the kawi, sport xrc and the new Yamaha. I ride sand hollow, coral pink trails and up in the mountains. What machine would you recommend based on your two machines and experiences?
@DerangedOffRoad4 жыл бұрын
I honestly think the KRX is the best bang for your buck. It rides and crawls better than the xrc right off the showroom floor. Interior wise I like the XRC better, but it is smaller inside. The xrc also has very little dust issues inside. If you get a KRX and put a windshield on it be prepared for a dust storm. Garrett is working on something for the dust in the KRX. -Dave
@scottmccown15584 жыл бұрын
I was worried about the dust in the cab of the KRX. I probably would only have a half windshield and a full back regardless of the machine. How do you feel the XRC does in the trails and rocks now with the new spring setup? Is it that much better? I do like the cab and size of the XRC. I’m coming from a Sport Arctic Cat so I’m sure it’s bigger then what I currently have. I appreciate your advise and input. I enjoy your vids at Sand Hollow. We should get together and I’ll show you around coral pink.

With the new suspension setup on the xrc it's a totally different machine now. I feel like I can spend the whole day riding. Before I was done after a few hours. Before in the xrc you'd basically just bounce off every bump and rock. Now the suspension actually soaks up the bumps. I'm definitely satisfied with how it rides now. Just wish I didn't have to spend so much money to get it there. It's a tough call between the two. Overtime the KRX will need springs as well. They tend to sag after 500-1000 miles.
@scottmccown15584 жыл бұрын
It looks like the Shock Therapy springs for the KRX seem to be very affordable. Did Garrett just do springs or calving too?
