How to install a light bar - Polaris Ranger XP

Our buddy Dustin has been rolling with stock headlights since he picked his machine up new at the end of 2016. Needless to say, his light has been limited on those night rides up in Duck Creek. On the off switch theres a blue light on the switch..does that light stay on when theres no key ignition and does that drain the battery?

No it won’t as long as it is wired to the ignition, just that blue light. Then it will turn on and off when you start your machine. -Garrett

Did you guys have a power relay and inline fuse in that harness already or had to add it?

The Polaris harness had one if I remember and it went to a bus bar that would have been ran to a fuse from factory. -Garrett

Will the brackets work on a 2019 ranger xp 1000 with pro fit cage

I just bought another set of the brackets and they said they fit the 2018 profit cages and I’m almost positive there were no changes from 18 to 19. I went with an option that didn’t require drilling into the cage. Just use a box cutter and new blade.

A good limb and that light bar is toast... Those brackets are toast, and those aluminum rivets are toast.

Up the roll cage and in between the roof.
