You probably missed a goal because one of River Plate goals, Pratto goal, was the most bizarre thing ever. We still make jokes about that goal because it was scored intermediately after their goal. That doesn´t happen often in professional football. Restarting the match, just walking into their field, then reaching their area, scoring and completely shut down the crowd that was still celebrating. Their goal was at 16:35, hs. ours was at 16:36 hs.😂

Eh.... most important? Tough to call a 2 leggged final where away fans aren't allowed played by squads of kids, ageing stars and almost made it players most important ever. Definitely the wildest ever. Def most important S. American final ever... but Argentine footy is too wild and unsafe. Passion is one thing but Mafia controlled Barras Bravas/Ultras groups that bring in drugs and determine political elections is another.Quality of Argentine game has fallen big time as well last decade.... Id say on a global scale Madrid derby CL final in 2015 was more important. Man U Chelsea in 2008 prolly accounts for 15+% of all global footy fans. You seem very boca biased, but at least you noticed that the police's security plan failed miserably at best, or was defective on purpose at worst. Our (by then) president, Mauricio Macri had been the president of boca in the 90s/00s and has been accused of buying the international championships the team got under his mangement, a very shady and crooked fella. They also wanted to take revenge on the pepper spray incident in 2015. They wanted us disqualified like them, and, worst of all, they wanted to win the cup without playing, because their coach and players KNEW they couldn't win against River in the pitch. The visiting team HAD NEVER arrived at our stadium via that way. They knew the bus would come that way and didn't bother in vacating the street or putting up a perimeter fence. Our bus had been attacked on its entrance to their stadium in the first leg and nobody bat an eyelash. Long story short, it was all a political move and also a shameful ruse. But God is fair and in the end the entire world watched who was the best team and rigthful champion. AGUANTE RIVER 🐔♥
