I'm in the middle of k24 swapping one. People k24 swap everything, lotus, mini Cooper, civic, it's a reliable swap and will always be supported. I hate to say ditch the rotary but if you love the chassis as much as I do you won't let such a great vehicle be lost ...also look into ev swapping and keeping the trans and everything they have those now too ..ev west

Rx8's are really cool and nice cars, but they don't compare to Rx7's that much. I'm not saying they're terrible because I myself have one right now, but Rx7's can so much more power and they weight less too. But it's not like you cant make an Rx8 go faster, because with a 13b engine swap and some pretty nice turbos it will make such a good car👌

Stock for stock the RX8 is better. But once its time to tune, mod and add all the bolt ons, RX7 13b REW Handles way more power than the Renesis 13b

I used to have the 192 RX8 in red, i was 21 when i bought it and i loved that crazy little sports car, also that rotary engine is amazing for its size! I used to make it beeeeep all the time but i was told it was good for the engine after warming it up in low revs first, i owned it for 5 years and didn't have any engine problems. The RX8 made me love Mazda's so i got the 2010 Mazda 6 2.2 Sport next as i needed to cover more miles for work and ill probably get another Mazda for my next car :)

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think trail braking reduces oversteer as it shifts the weight of the car to the front wheels resulting in less understeer. Unless you meant understeering because I didn't see much oversteer in the video.

Had no problems with the Ignition kit, i replaces the coils once because the software setup was a little to "agressive" on the coils. some guy in germany :D

Dankeschön :) verbrauch war bei normaler fahrweise bei ca 12-13 Litern. Bei dem Fahrstil wie in dem Video auch um die 20Liter rum.

Ja, alles klar. So wie ich es schon oft gehört hab. Der Wagen ist wirklich Klasse und mit dem Wankel hat man was besonderes aber der Verbrauch ist halt echt heftig! ...Und der Motor an sich? Anfällig? Oder hattest du bei entsprechender Wartung keine Probleme? Kurzstrecken mag er nicht hab ich mir auch sagen lassen.

google : rx8club new and potential owners . If that is too much of a read, here's the short version : 300ml of 2T oil on every fill-up, engine MUST NOT EVER exceed 100 degrees celsius operating temperature, do not start driving until the engine has warmed up, first 10min of driving do not rev it over 4000RPM, you need to replace the coils every 30.000Km or just buy the BHR coils and never replace them again. That's the gist of it

hey, i got mine for 7500€ and it had 56k km on it. it only flooded 1 time after i tried to start it after winter but the battery was too low. i had no problems with my engine what so ever. if you care good about the engine (drive it warm, check oil and fluids and kick it once or twice a week) everything ia Good 👍

+Szantie the rotaty engine is a very good engine you dont have any timing belts or chains so you only do the oil service and fluids. but it likes to trink a lot of fuel. gas bottle?
