@@mikelennie2848because we catered to the league trying to be a spectator sport. It’ll unfortunately never be a high paid spectator sport and that’s okay. But I was 15.4 and violence back

I somehow stumbled across the "golden era paintball" algorithm. 'Tis dope.

same game, different feel. Advertised a lot more diverse trying to grow the sport. As the young pros turned into OG's, the new kids introduced a different era all together in the sport. Its no longer portrayed as a hardcore, ruthless at your throat game. Now its ultimately described as chess with guns. Between the rule changes and the multiple ownerships of national leagues selling out to stay afloat along with trying to preserve the sport, its not gonna stay the same. No sport ever truly remains the same as there is always considered a golden era. this 2002-10' was one of them. Rip Aftermath Rip Trauma------Wicked Crazy Kids 4 Life-----LETS GET IT UP GRIDLOCK Rip Strange Rip Avalanche Rip Naughty Dogs Rip LTZ Rip Oakland Assassins Rip 187 Crew Rip Vicious People/Teams will always come and go, but the love for the game will never die out. | LORDS |

I think the role of the coaches became way too important. The players have almost no power they are just pawns that the coach screams orders at. When I was playing players were making most of the strategic decisions and adjustments which to me make more sense as they are the one playing the field, feeling the rhythm of the game. Coaches should stay at a position of support.
@Djblaze3377 жыл бұрын
agree with that, glad we are back to being active chess players instead of robots. Like the original Red Legion camp in 05 haha
@TheHitman64216 жыл бұрын
I completely agree but that is almost in any sport look at football as an example you have the coach who is the player he moves the pieces by calling the play. Now the quarterback is the king he can make adjustments when needed but he usually follows the play and the rest only follow the play as it is taught to them, but like in paintball when is a big play made? When the pawn takes over

it's way better. today is more spraying until you hit the other player out. you hardly see go plays. that's good there's a classic league now so some of the OG players can come out and enjoy real paintball
@-gator47324 жыл бұрын
It is because the gun shot faster. I know it sounds crazy. Watch the old smart parts world cup. When you shot a lane off the break with 15 bps you shut that lane down. So it was common to lose 1-3 players off the break. Then games close really fast when it is 4 on 2.

Back when players weren't afraid to take chances, even with 1000 rounds of paint in the air at any given moment. Seems the tactics are so stringent now it sterilized the gameplay. Just like Formula 1 racing
@patrickguerro99793 жыл бұрын
@@Figgumz17 players are also becoming better faster then back then. So the play is going to tighten up and become better.
