So of Dereks sisters...Kathleen and Nancy are judgemental and terrible, Lizzie is ok she was just annoyed that Meredith was distant(which was fair), and Amelia grew on us until we loved her.

I was thinking the same thing. Nancy and Kathleen are crappy especially by the way they teased and taunted Amelia. Lizzie wasn’t so bad she might’ve seemed a bit cold at first but she wasn’t too bad. And I always knew I was gonna like Amelia and that she was gonna be a great character.

It really pissed me off how most of Derek’s friends and family were on Addison’s side after she cheated. His friends from New York (who came to get a hysterectomy), his friends Naomi and Sam and even his sisters. They all blame him for leaving her but are still friends with her and even Mark!! I mean I love Mark but honestly how can you be friends with Mark and Addison and then shame your brother for cheating or leaving his cheating wife and calling Mer a slut??

Where did you get the impression that everyone was on Addisons side? The majority of the episode where Savy and Weiss were there was about Savy and Weiss and how their marriage would survive the surgery. They never took sides. They both probably know more about the marriage than we do and the same goes for Dereks sisters. Apart from Nancy and of course Amelia we never saw the other sisters from Derek interact with Addison on screen.When did they take sides? When did Naomi and Sam take sides? They live in L.A and when Addy went there they barely ever mentioned Derek,let alone their marriage. When Sam came to Seattle Grace it was Derek who apologized for not keeping in touch with his friends from medical school.🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

“he’s just.. mark” made me so mad. first off, meredith didn’t even know he was married! and when she found out, she wasn’t with him. i honestly feel like it just pretty privilege toward mark. 😂😂. mark knew he was married, yet he still slept with addison, i mean he even went to seattle to get her back even though she made it a point to everyone that she was going to try and make it work with derek. it always made me mad that meredith was the one to blame as if addison hadn’t cheated first.

We find out why in season 15 when Amelia went to New York and ran into her sisters and mom. When Amelia and Derek father was shot and killed Amelia pretty much acted out and her mother felt like she reminded her of her dad so much so she pretty much like turned her back on her. Derek volunteered to basically be the father fiqure and take care of Amelia for her mom. The sisters followed. Now in season 16 she has a new baby and no tumor anymore so now hopefully they will come to Washington to see their new nephew and Meredith kids as well.

She had no idea what actually happened and just wanted the truth and then she was ok with him. What else does he expect he made that mess he ruined meredith's reputation everyone was calling mere a slut or a mistress. He married addison in front of his family she was a part of that family she was their sister if he minds them taking her side he should tell them what happened. Its not the same case for meredith because for her the definition of family is too different but not for addison. How are they supposed to take his side when she is their family. But then again it's just what i felt that he was too rude to them with no obvious reason
