This is beautiful. My husband and I were just talking about the people who don't want to help others who claim one has "to pay their dues"...I too believe this is another form or a very fancy low-key, crab in a barrel mentality. I made many mistakes that truly altered my life circumstances simply because so called people who Loved me didn't want to give me good advice simply because I needed to pay my dues...
