After that terrible death , I really think that meredith should stay alone until the end of the show. Derek was the love of her life. Before him , she was a messed up woman who didn't believe in love or family but he gave her hope ,he believed in them & she finally has been able to open her heart to someone. They were soulmates , so she can't find that again , it would feel wrong. In real life , you can't move on so quickly after experienced a love like that...For me ,It's gonna take years for Meredith to recover from this loss.

I stopped watching Grey's in the 7th or 8th season (when it began to become really weird and they better should've just ended it). So I watched all the 7 or 8 seasons (and loved them) and then didn't watch the series for years. Now when I heard that Derek died I watched this video here and even though I had stopped watching Grey's, I had to cry the whole time while watching this video. Damn it, this was just a perfect relationship with a guy who loves his wifes whatever happens, one who really deserves the nickname "McDreamy". Seeing him laying there in the hospital bed made me cry so hard. I don't want to imagine how much it would hurt to watch the whole episode.

I can only think that TV is magic because watching amazing series like grey's anatomy. Make us feel like things are really happening.
