Luke 17:4 Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to say, 'I repent,' you must forgive him." The words that catch my attention in this verse ,,,,are.....seven times returns to say " I REPENT.. i sense if the person isn't repentant .... that they hurt you. They are teasing you and making you frustrated ... to me it sounds like the person or people in your life are NOT RETURNING TO YOU AND saying I REPENT ....it is like you keep giving a gift but is not appreciated or received..

So true: We know that anything in us which is from the Holy Spirit within us - that is good - has come from our surrender to Jesus; for we are all imperfect. - "The Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God." Yet, Jesus is the perfect Lamb of God - Who died once, for all. The example is of a woman who can not consciously ask forgiveness for herself and the Doctor asks in her place for her forgiveness. That's what I get from the story Derek tells

I thank God for this video. It came at the right time. I have a question though, can we/should we forgive even if it’s not asked of us. And if we should does that mean the person should be in our lives so we can show we have truly forgiven? More for if they haven’t asked but could still apply when they do ask. I ask this because honestly I believe that even when we truly forgive it does not mean we have to continue being in a relationship with that person.
