I agreed earlier on with you. Sadly, that still didn't work out for them being engaged and doing the long-distance thing, all very hard to do. In hind-sight, perhaps holding off on a proposal would be better, as did Adam Gottschalk and his girlfriend Raven. Hopefully, the latter couple got to know and love one another and are now more ready for engagement. We'll see though. Wishing all the best to Derek and Taylor and their futures without one another. It was so sweet and great last year (of that great proposal). Sadly, all didn't pan out or work out for either of them. Long-distance may have strained their engagement with complications associated with long-distance relationships. May both of them learn and heal from their broken engagement. In hind-sight, one should have moved to be nearer to the other. IMHO, Taylor should have considered moving to be nearer to Derek, especially since he apparently bought a house or condo. unless my info. and research were flawed and erroneous. Dawn Gēmu I didn't get why people hated her so much. Being a counselor she understands that the best way to deal with an issue is to communicate. She did the when when you do this (or this happens) I feel. Which is the way people are told is the best way to communicate. Corrine's only come back to that was "you're a b". Adam Gottschalk held off on proposing last year, and perhaps that was very wise of him to do so. How I wish that their love held out and that they stayed engaged, and moved forward towards a hopeful marriage. However, it didn't work out for them. Neither moved to be much nearer to the other. The reason Rachel and Bryan has worked out is because they were both older, they knew what they were looking for and fell head over heels in love from the time they laid eyes on each other. I'm well aware of the fact of the duration of filming but I also know that being on The bachelor or BIP is different from the normal dating convention so of course the course of their relationship would be different/ magnified as they spend so much time together. Yes it doesn't affect me personally but I'm just happy for them so why shouldn't I support their relationship and at such a great time for both of them? I'm a fan of this 'silly' tv show because it's different from watching the norm happen and yes I agree to the implication that they don't always last long but for the most part at least they do find love on this show which is the goal achieved even if some did get on the show to be on tv that's on them, as it is with other cast members; they'd be on the show out of their own adult decision and know to face the consequences. Obviously they knew. These television shows schedule the interviews and try to stick to the schedule to ensure they cover everything and everyone they planned on. They don't have indefinite time for people to show up and take up unbudgeted amounts of time
