Derek had, what most people would call, a normal life. He went to school, worked as an engineer, and was married for many years. Until it all crumbled beneath him.
While going through an unexpected and traumatic divorce, Derek began to have health difficulties, which prevented him from working. Soon, he was unable to pay his bills. About this time, his eyesight began to fail.
Derek sought help at Greenville Rescue Mission. While at the Mission, his eyesight failed almost completely. But God worked a miracle through the partnership of a local ministry.
Today, Derek looks at life through new eyes!
