Hey, I would recommend and change the 5.0 emblem to the black glossy with the red dot in the middle. I did that it look awesome. It would stand out more with the car being whit.

I also have a S650 with the H-pipe valved exhausts system, nothing but good things to say about it. Quiet mode is QUIET and when the valves are open it SCREAMS.

The growl of that V8 sounds great. I guess the exhaust sounds alright, too. It pops a little but my 2023 Elantra N with a tune sounds way better. You get the growl of the V8 though, which is where the appeal is at with those mustangs. Active exhaust is the only way to go for late night neighborhood drives or passing cops.

Hell yeah Derek that what I was thinking when you brought the Dremel out that hole piece needed to go . It sounds really good I think you could probably fit your tire wheel in and have the compressor under it i think I would put the grommets back in after you drilled a hole through them for the hose run through just keep dust from coming in.

Wow love the sound especially with the Kooks headers. Does the Valved Exhaust company say that you pick up any rwhp??? AWE & Borla sound great and provide the “Switch Path”electric valves like the Ford AE has. Both of those Catbacks provide 10+ rwhp and sound very good but I gotta say I am liking your set up but I want an H-pipe for the deeper bass tone. If you gain rwhp with Valved Exhaust then I am a “Go” with them!!! Darek I attempted to order (2) of your newest shirts (004) but was unable to get the order through. Careful with water wetter. I used it when I raced motorcycles because WERA made you run it instead of antifreeze. Water wetter can still freeze so be careful with your mixture and don’t dilute your antifreeze too much.

Great option for those who didn't get the active exhaust. We all kbow the 10R80 is faster but ro you regret not getting the manual? I had both in my Mustangs and unsure which transmission to go with next. The MT82 and tall gearing is a big putoff for me though.

I’ve had too many issues with valved exhaust. Their presentation is nice but their quality control from their piping to the box and connectors giving out over a short amount of time. I live in the Chicago area and when it was cold the button would stop working. Even after I got a full replacement same thing happened. My brother also had similar issues. Hopefully they buttoned up quality control and use more quality components .

Yeah, we are at the bolt-on phase of the S650 model run. In truth, most of the bolt-ons are relatively pointless and don't significantly change the value proposition of the Mustang. They do serve to generate income for the vendors however. I would spend money on driving lessons at the track and making modest tweaks for track use. Things like upgraded brake pads and a good set of tires.
