Great video, very well done. I could see us showing this in our visitor center at Mammoth Cave.

Thank you for this. My job entails crawling under houses in tight spaces and now I want to start caving!

Hi from the UK Derek. While our current situation is in place NO CAVING!!! So I’m watching videos and planning trips for when things improve. I don’t know about you but as well as the caves which I miss it’s also the landscape and more importantly my friends. So your back catalogue is getting a serious battering along with other video makers such as Catchpool here in the UK. Stay safe everybody 😀

Looking forward to getting back underground once the lockdown herein the UK is over. Just started caving properly a year and a half ago and am properly hooked.

Same here in the US. Waiting anxiously to get back underground. Might try to get back to the UK later this year.

Hey derek, do you know the name of the village with the big chasm in the middle? Looks like Europe to me

I really want to start spelunking but I'm scared of the small crevices and holes I'd have to navigate through. Is that something a beginner would have to confront?
@windjammer39502 жыл бұрын
Yes, but you should know that as you go farther into the cave the fear starts to dissipate immensely. The idea of exploration and adventure will often overtake the fear you felt at first.

Very well done. Vocabulary might be slightly above 6th grade level, but acceptable. to scientifically minded public.
