I was released into the gift very unexpectedly after me telling God, "I don't want THAT gift" (I was shy and hated any attention!) It came with sobbing - God was weeping for people's hurt and pain. He said He wanted to fill people up with His love, with His Spirit and with gifts, but he couldn't: "because you won't forgive." (It was for specific people) It ended with Him weeping again. Mind you patience is key also. The prophecy may be right and true of God, but let us not lean to our own understanding. God may cause it to take several years to happen, yet the long length of time it takes to come to pass doesn’t negate that it has indeed come from God.

Pastor, your wife's prophesy is for me. I am in tears when she started speaking. I have written down her prophesy. I couldn't hear others clearly. But for some reason, you asked her to take the mic so that I could hear clearly. Recent times, I have been asking the Lord to send down His Angels for me. My dear our dear brother Derek went Home to be with the Lord and His people in 2003 however just as Jesus said when a seed falls down and dies it then produces much fruit! He was a great teacher of God and filled with the Holy Spirit. There is a reason that we try to be good and fail. It is because whenever we try we try by our own power and immediately fall under the curse of the Law. Any time we try that way we are not walking by the Spirit and faith and that grace will be shut down. This is because no one can earn or work for Grace it is a free Gift of God. So since we can do nothing by our own power we must YIELD. We must say I cannot do it Lord Jesus I YIELD to Your Power. Then and only then can we receive Grace and walk to victory in Christ. And when we do we will walk in Power. We should be speaking to God and He will speak to us. Jesus loves you more than any words can adequately express. May God bless you exceedingly abundantly beyond all you see or imagine! P.S. Pray to Jesus and let Him come Himself. Tell Him all your troubles He loves you dearly and if you come to Him in all sincerety with your pain? He will absolutely 100% of the time send HELP. Yeshua (Jesus) means Salvation in Hebrew because that is what He is to all who recieve Him. You see He did not exaggerate in any word He spoke every single thing He said was perfectly true without exaggeration. I trust God far more than I trust myself. I always fail by my power! Amen. This is true. Have faith and endure whatever your tests and trials may be. If it did not test your physical, mental and moral strength it was merely a weakness. All aspects of our life we must repent and then change that course of action and continue to pray for Holy Spirit; pray, meditate and have faith. People are often afraid or close minded to things that they don’t understand, have never experienced themselves and/or just are not like “how they grew up” in their faith. They fail to realize that had they actually grown up in their faith in a different denomination that they did, it’d not all seem so foreign and strange to them. It doesn’t make every instance of it fake or untrue-that’s where we need to pray for discernment and have our spirits open-our spiritual eyes and ears. Many miss out on His blessings because of closed, disbelieving spirits. Joel tells us that in these latter days He will pour out His spirit and male & female, young & old, will indeed prophesy, see visions, dream dreams, etc....bcuz of the Holy Spirit. These are all gifts the Holy Spirit can, Will and does impart to whomever He so chooses. It certainly doesn’t make it wrong just because it’s not happened to you tho.

How do we practice a gift? A gift is a gift we receive from someone and we do not have to practice receiving it! Salvation is a gift and we dont practice receiving it we just accept it..

Some giftings require doing. Prophecy is one of them. Not everything you hear is from the Lord- you have to practice speaking prophecies then test it to be sure. To add to that, we may not have to “practice salvation” per se, but we must renew our mind daily and pursue righteousness. It’s not practicing but it is something that requires diligent effort.

Danny Murdach just bcuz you don’t personally believe in it, or weren’t “raised that way” or haven’t personally experienced it does not mean it is not real. I agree some may be putting on, whether it’s tongues or prophesying, etc.... but the Bible does indeed tell us in places like Joel that in the latter days He WILL pour out His Spirit on our young, elderly and in between-male & female-and we will see and experience many of these gifts/things. God didn’t just go silent. The Holy Spirit is in all born again believers & it’s the Holy Spirit who will give these gifts to whoever He determines He wants to. Don’t miss out on important words or blessings from the Lord by closing off your spirit-your spiritual ears and eyes-pray for Him to give you true discernment. I wasn’t raised up around this but I do know I have witnessed it for real and I’ve also seen it faked as well. That’s where discernment comes in and if you ask Him, He will give that discernment to you but He will not fight your free will closed spirit to do so. The Bible does not say that there will be no more gifts given by the Holy Spirit after the time of the apostles🤷‍♀️

"If all are prophesying" that's not implying that everyone can prophesy, Paul says in 1 Corinthians 12 that all do not prophesy by his logic, in 1 Corinthians 13: If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. does that mean Paul knows all mysteries and knowledge and has all faith?

Seek Gods will. It’s not our will that exercises this. Either God has something to say through us or He doesn’t. We don’t choose when to do it. We should pursue gifts but conjuring it up when we want might be inviting false spirits. I have heard many false prophesying. Practicing? No. When the Spirit says to. Why did God send the demons down to the earth ? What good did it do? Why did He send His begotten son here for only about 30 years and yet these horrible demons are here all the time making life here on earth miserable? Why didn't he just destroy them when they got out of line way back in the beginning? Why didn't He send them someplace else where they couldn't harm us here on Earth? I appreciate some of Derek's teaching but this is not what the gift if prophecy is about. It is for communicating revealed truths with power and authority. I did not receive the gift prophecy by my own will. I may have asked for it our not. He gives as He wills. It is mostly preaching. Every thing his wife said can be backed up with scripture.
