Hey Jen! It was certainly fun day up in NH. I gotta do a whole D Tour on just Fun Spot sometime. There is a ton of stuff there that I didn’t even scratch the surface of showing. Awweeeee its been years since ive been to Weirs Beach! We stayed not far from there at a nice inn. We took the boat ride too. Its a nice area. D is bringing the sights!! Wonderful video, thank you so much D =)

Yeah the Laconia area is beautiful. My family vacationed from the early 80s thru the late 90s in Wolfboro on Lake Winnipesaukee. We know that lake really well and all the towns and villages all around it. I always enjoy heading up there. I haven’t visited during the Summer in several years. I need to head back in the Summer months. Glad you enjoyed the video. It was a fun one to film. Thanks for watching.

Yeah Kurt. It’s pretty amazing. A little crowded for my liking. I had to toss music in the video or else you would have heard everyone’s annoying conversations. Lol. The tubing hill and sleigh ride are an extra up charge so I didn’t participate. But the beers were cold for $11.. Thanks for watching.

great d tour derek! the ice castles & the walk at night were especially lovely. but what had me at boo was that arcade & those classic games. while you were playing Donkey Kong i had a flashback of playing the game in the arcades of my youth. oh, & i do love me some drive-ins. if ya ever wanna make a video of a d tour at that drive-in ya got me for life! thank you for a fun tour!

Yeah I could have spent all day at Fun Spot but it would have overshadowed the Ice Castles theme of the video topic. But it’s definitely an awesome roadside attraction. I remember seeing Jim Carry’s The Mask at that Drive In theater. I’ve seen other movies as well but distinctly remember The Mask. Oh, and the Ice Castles were pretty cool too..

Hey Terry. Glad you enjoyed this D Tour! Yes it was a fun day all around. You asked about the temp. It looks like when I was at Fun Spot at 3pm it was 33 degrees. It probably dipped down to the mid 20s by the time I left the Ice Castles. So it was chilly.

I'm disappointed that Hart's was closed. I haven't had a turkey dinner there in years and was looking forward to seeing that plate. Best turkey dinner ever. Just don't tell my mom that.

Lol!! I promise not to tell your Mom😂 Yeah Brian, I totally agree on it being the BEST turkey dinner. I Always get the Jumbo plate (for leftovers) all white meat, double mash and extra gravy. Next time I’ll definitely be making that trip in a non Tuesday. Thanks for watching Brian.

Yeah if all things go as planned I’ll be at the Boat Show on Saturday. Hopefully you can make it up to the Ice Castles. Hopefully they don’t melt with the 60 degree warm front coming this week. It’s fun but it was super crowded and the drive home is always stressful with those mountain highways being so dark. Definitely don’t head up that way in a Tuesday cause Harts is closed. Hope you had a great trip to Disney. Your pictures looked awesome.

@@k.jeanette2203 I don’t spend much time in Salem during the Summer. The video that I have filmed during the Summer pretty much show the same stuff I show in my Fall videos. The only other Summer activity would suggest is take some sort of boat/dinner cruise which I’ve never done other than the tiki boat cruise. I haven’t been to the beach or campground or anything.

Great question. I didn’t see any and the area is totally slushy so I’m sure it would be tough to get a wheelchair through without the wheels sinking into the slush.

Thanks for the reminder Julie. Yeah I am definitely hitting Haunted Overload this year. A lot of people in Salem kept asking me if I was going to go. @Derek Millen totally! That's why I didn't go because they sold out way in advance. Have to get the tickets early this time. You can go there during the day to just walk through it and see everything, and it's creepy as hell. I will definitely be at Megacon, hope to see you there.
