I found that having a brain in prison was the most valuable commodity. All I wanted to do after my short sentence, which I didn't deserve, was to help others and I was shut down at ever place. I have the experience, the skills and the empathy to help but it became apparent to me that they don't want you to actually come and help, from there my eyes have been opened and every single day I learn things about the justice system that utterly sicken me, it's not just me they abuse anyone they can get their mits into. I would argue anyone that has endure prison would come out wanting to help others. It's horrible.
